Movie Reviews

This is no good!!!
Dingo Warrior | Florida | 10/08/2002

"I am one of Kurupt's ( & D.P.G.'s ) biggest fans, so of course I had to get it.
Once I watched it I was highly disappointed.
There is nothing special here.
No videos, just useless talking about nothing.
The concert scenes were also terrible.
Some scenes had voice overs with songs instead of the actual live concert sounds.
There is a low low budget video for a song that looks like it was shot with a home video camera.
Every guest shot had people looking in the camera talking [and] trying to sound tough.
Going into buying this DVD I thought it would have ( if not all )
some of Kurupt's videos.
I thought the interviews would be more interesting.
I would give this no stars but Amazon won't allow me to.
I'm writing this to warn anyone considering to buy this.
Don't get your hopes up with this one.
The only thing half way decent is Roscoe's freestyling battle.
The bonus disc is also [no good].
The disc has 3 short snippets and the rest is 4 [disappointing] songs.
There is nothing special about this edition.
Please don't make the same mistake I made.
Get Xzibit's Restless Exposed DVD instead.
It has all Xzibit's videos and some good behind the scenes action."

"Finally the great Kurupt Young Gotti gave us a inside look at his life on the road. This has got to be one of the greatest behind the scenes dvd's ever. The guest appearences alone is enough to make it over the top worth buying. Roscoe, Daz, Snoop, Bad Azz, Tray Dee, Tha Liks, Xzibet, and much more appear in this video. Another reason this video is off the hook is because of the underground videos. They were all shot on the dv camera so of course it's not like their normal videos, but they are still off the hook. Another great reason is the females all over it, DAWM. And finally another reason is the music cd that comes with it, ful of unrealesed songs, and a few snippits. So I recommend this video to all music lovers out there who want a behind the scenes look at some real g'z."

"Sounded terrible, visuals were terrible, on camera was terrible and the production and direction was even more terrible and please tell me something....who gets the job of handing out the title of "Director" on this mess? I mean what's to direct? A bunch of crunked up and smoked out MC's with white girlz? Stupidity and a waste of 10 bucks!!"
Best DVD on DPG yet... RAW AND UNCENSORED!!

"What i liked most about GTV was the fact that it was not Hollywood or trying to make stuff look real slick. It was the real behind the scenes of Kurupt. I like this DVD because of its RAW feel and it seems that we get to see the real stuff, not just the things they would want us to see. A must HAVE for ANY DPG fan"
