Movie Reviews

******Best No Budget Film Ever Made*******
Frank Z. Gibalski | sierra vista, az | 07/28/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Hi,
I have never written a review before, so please bear with me. After seeing this film I felt that I had to say something about it. The creators of this film were members of a real live rock band in Pittsburgh in the late 90's who felt that their path to fame and fortune wasn't moving ahead fast enough. Although they had no background in film making or acting they decided to try to make a horror film that they could incorporate their music into, to get more publicity for their band. Shot with camcorders on a budget of $700., yes $700. I did not leave off any zeros, over the course of 2-3 years they put this ultra low budget masterpiece together. Most of the kill sequences are shot in a basement of one of their parent's homes and the police chief's office is an attic. Look past this remember $700. They got their friends, family and girlfriends to act in this film. Then got a local strip club, bars and a deli to let them film in their establishments for free. There is an abundant amount of drugs, sex, violence, nudity (girls in backroom with strap-ons -looks real) gore(mostly off camera) but for $700., you can't expect CG effects. Extra added bonus, the music this band plays is worth listening to. They are pretty damn good. Short film, only 56 minutes but one of the extras is a 44 minute making of that is worth the price of this video by itself. Check this out."
