A secret CIA project creates a super-soldier girl with special abilities . . . yes this plot has been done many times, and done better. Plot devices go steadily downhill to using cheesy jump scares by the ending of the movie, which come at the expense of making any logical sense. The family in the van touring Morocco makes no sense - they don't make any attempt to call the Hanna's parents or contact authorities. Then we have Eric Bana apparently swimming across the frigid sea from Norway or Sweden to Denmark in nothing but underclothes . . . after walking down from the Artic Circle in a suit? I would let that go if he was also some kind of super-human, but it is established that he was not part of the super soldier program. Cate Blanchett is wasted in this plot. She starts as a convincing villain, but then doesn't live up to it at the end, and I still can't figure out who was supposed to be fooled by her southern accent that seems to come and go intentionally(?). Action is pretty slow during the middle part of the movie when there's an attempt at character development. Hanna is shown as a fish out of water in her new world, unable to comprehend simple tech such as phones or TV sets. This is subsequently blown sky high when she deftly navigates a locked door and then uses a computer to look up things on the Internet. I recommend skipping this one and watch any of the other similar movies.

Solid assassin/CIA flick! Saoirse Ronan shines in this and you will hate Cate Blanchett! A must see for Spy fans!

Hanna is a mildly mutated, slender blonde killing machine who has no idea of her origin.
She's a lot like Jason Bourne, but her story line is a lot less convincing, with illogical twists and improbable intercontinental hops for the very appealing young female.
All the kind people Hanna comes into contact with seem to end up dead, killed by the bad guys from what in other stories is known as "the shop."
Well, it's got a lot of action.
