Member Movie Reviews Amber M. from MORROW, GA Reviewed on 9/7/2013... I admit I wanted to see this just for Jeremy Renner...and because it looked like fun. I wasn't disappointed! This movie doesn't try to pretend to be something it's not--instead, it embraces the craziness and runs with it. The fight scenes are very well choreographed as well as very bloody. There isn't much drawn-out drama and even some of the most dramatic moments have some appropriate humor thrown in to lighten the heavy emotion. Characterization was nicely handled given how little opening there was to insert it between all the fight scenes, and I really grew to like both siblings as well as some others very quickly. Also, there were some quick jokes/references that I greatly enjoyed as they flashed by. I finished the movie cheering and laughing uproariously, and the first thing out of my mouth was "I loved it!". Good action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. Heartily recommended! 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
