Wonderful but lip-synched

"About a month ago I bought the Sasha & Shawna CD and was immediately drawn into their ethereal and talented sound. So when I saw that there was also a DVD available I was thrilled to be able to hear a live version of some of my favorite selections from their CD as well as to watch them perform live. Not.
Unfortunately, the music on the DVD is entirely lip-synched. It's not always obvious yet it is abudundantly clear that the audio is not from a live performance. In parts where their lips apparently do not match the audio (which is the exact tracks from the CD) the DVD transitions to majestic scenes of Fall foliage.
It is still a thrill to see these two very talented sopranos perform. Yet I feel burned since the soundtrack is absolutely the same one on the CD that I already own. It makes the fade in and out of audience applause seem all the more deceiving. How disappointing.
If you're not already familiar with the performers on this DVD this is a great introduction to abundant talent. However, if you already own the audio versions this DVD will likely be a huge disappointment -- bordering on a ripoff."
New refreshing music

"I was flipping through channels during commercial time when I came across PBS' airing of this show. While I was watching something else, I kept flipping back to Heavenly Voices. The music from each of the artists was refreshingly original and not a rehash of someone already established. The vocals are a touch of Enya, a touch of Sarah Brightman, and a touch of Michael Crawford to the wonderful orchestra that accompanied them. Along with the backdrops of peaceful scenery that graces the Earth, the concert relaxed me after a hard day at work, and had me hooked. Songs like "Espiritu," "I Know It's Real," and their final collaboration of "Amazing Grace," are like lullabies to the ears. Watch and enjoy - I bet you'll purchase their respective CD's as well. I did."
