"this was the first "Hoodz" dvd i've ever seen... it was okay. i give the Hoodz crew props just for getting these stories... going where no one else goes to get them... and actually coming out in 1 piece, so props up to them... this dvd was okay, i've seen better, but it was alright... i wish they could of talked to some OG's, and not just the young ppz in this set. also, they centered on the blood set, Murda Hill. i wish they could have interviewed some other sets and not just all this set.

they also interviewed, female rapper, Remy Ma too... don't get me wrong, i like Remy Ma, i think she's a good rapper, but she only contributes to the dvd on how it was when she was growing up. i don't know if she was ever in a gang, but she doesn't mention if she was on this dvd. she mostly says how it was/is to live in the projects around this stuff. i don't know why "Hoodz" to me, wasted their time w/ Remy Ma. the Remy Ma footage would of been a great opportunity to go get some knowledge from diff blood sets... instead of putting in remy ma... and all murda hill..

back to murda hill: they got some info from 1 girl blood gangsta. i wish they would have gotten more females to speak... i think she was the only female there at the time though that actually spoke up loud enough over the males to get heard though.

at the end of this one, it shows one of the male bloods that got in a fight w/ some other blood or non-blood, can't remember sorry. anyway, this guy got stabbed in his back... "Hoodz" center on the wound alot... it's a big wound.. and it's bleeding pretty good too.. this blood guy though, he hides his hurt well. and his homie, is all, 'he's okay he's okay, he don't need to go to the hospital'. this dude needs to go to the hospital too... he got gashed up twice... 1 in the back, 1 on his leg i think. both wounds are bad...

i really am rating this dvd as 3 1/2 stars, only becuase, i wish they would of gone and talked to more blood sets. talked to female gangbangers, and spent way less time on Remy Ma. it's an okay dvd, but there's better out there. i personally feel "Slippin: 10 Years with the Bloods" is like a tiny hair better then this one..."
