I chose this movie (as a fan of Tom Selleck) to see him without that prize winning ‘stash and that great head of hair but got a big surprise! The movie is actually GOOD! Selleck portrays one of the great war time generals who later became a great President of the USA. I was young but do recall the We Like IKE for president movement that was actually successful in drafting him into the campaign in 1952. This movie deals with the time leading up to the D-Day invasion that was a major turning point in WWII. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
