I bought this video for him and it is so beautiful. The narration is fairly simple with interesting facts that are not too scientific. This video continually shows animal footage without interviews, etc. that are common in more traditional "documentaries," which is great for kids. There is a lot of underwater footage which I haven't always found in whale videos. I only wish I could watch it in an IMAX theater." Great for kids D.
