A Must For Men Learning & Women Teaching Men to Dance
L. Leininger | 06/29/2009
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Westly Goes through several basic moves, arm gestures and posturing, zills and even walking steps. All this in a very short time. Be ready to back up the DVD and go through at your own pace. Or even pause till you get the hang of a move before layering the rest. This DVD has some wonderful, masculine perfomances and stresses something that is hard for many guys/gals to really understand:

Not everyone can do moves the same way. There are real physical differences not only between men and women but between individuals. If there is anything I can stress to beginners is just to ease into new movements and get as close an approximation as you can, for your body type.

Women who are teaching men need to reassure them that this can be a strong, powerful mode of expression for them and they are certainly not expected to do all the same moves and hand gestures women do.

Guys starting, don't be intimidated. Be confident, go at your own pace, once you start having gains (flexibility, rythm, stamina)it will get more comfortable. It would be a pleasure to have more strong male dancers sharing the joy of the dance. Thank you.

There are also help emails provided by Westly and Zamoras they are there to help."
