Movie Reviews

Poor pictures
04/23/2004
(2 out of 5 stars)

"The pictures are so poor and blurred that this concert never should have been released on DVD. When purchasing a DVD the customer should expect far better pictures than what this DVD is offering. The selection of songs and arias is excellent, but that can not compensate for inferior pictures."
Great Selection
Richard D. Cappetto | Moodus, CT United States | 10/01/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a must have Pavarotti DVD. It Looks and Sounds good, not normal DVD quality (more like Video Quality) BUT it includes a great selection of Arias and Italian favorites. IT IS A MUST HAVE."
For Pavarotti Purists
Elisabeth Depristo | Newton, MA United States | 11/28/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have listened to many Pavarotti concerts but this one reminds the listener song after song exactly why Luciano Pavarotti was considered the top for tenors. Every selection is a showpiece for his phenomenal range and clarity. The quality of both the picture and the sound is wonderful. He is at the height of his career in this concert (1987) and every note he sings is pure and true. This is a must-have."
