Movie Reviews

Buyer be careful!

"This is a great concert no doubt, however be careful as the region 1 dvd was one of the WORST transfers I've ever seen. Jumpy like a bad VHS. Did I mention that it was horrible? I really hope this company did a better job"
Meeting of the Spirits (1979)

"This is a great slice of time ..back in time! Al Di Meola had not joined the trio he would join shortly after this performance . Johnny Mac shreds on an acoustic version of "Meeting of The Spirits" Paco tears it up as well! Coryell mostly on rythum . An abridged version of Mediterranean Sundance with Paco & Larry is great. Not too long after this was "FRIDAY NIGHT IN SAN FRANCISCO" the greatest live acoustic guitar performance since the beginning of time .I have that show on video its over 2 hours in length its a shame they had to cut out half the show for the audio c.d.L.P./release! They performed solo pieces before performing in pairs and as a trio!"
