Movie Reviews

LIFE IMITATING ART
Michael Butts | Martinsburg, WV USA | 07/04/2005
(3 out of 5 stars)

"METHOD is really two movies in one: we see a movie crew making a movie about a crazed lady who kills over 40 wealthy men for their fortunes; and a movie about the actress who takes on the role and becomes morbidly obsessed with it. These two storylines intertwine and we become wary on just what is reality and what isn't. Elizabeth Hurley does well in her role as the has been actress looking for a comeback; Jeremy Sisto is good as the actor who is also her ex-boyfriend. When murders occur during the filming of the movie, the viewer is left to posit who is the culprit? Although it can be confusing and the resolution somewhat iffy, METHOD captivates the audience with its intriguing dual storyline."
No METHOD to this MADNESS!!!

"Where to start? This is a positively dreadful waste of time and money....I feel sorry for the actors and technicians that had to waste good time producing such rubbish. The story is slightly stolen from the classic "A Double Life" starring Ronald Coleman in an Oscar winning role in the 50's. ITs nothing but a lame slasher movie with the addition of famous leads. If you were to bet me that a movie 90 minutes in length and featuring Elizabeth Hurley in all her stunning beauty for nearly every minute of it..and that I'd still regret wasting the time I'd take that bet....I did, and lost. Be afraid , be very afraid!"
NOT CONSISTENT WTH R-RATING

"This product was rated R , and so I wanted to witness sexy scenes of Liz hurley. But there were none to my dismay. So it was really mis-leading to rate this product as "R".
Are nude scenes shown in "Unrated" Movies. If so, then only I will procedd with purchase of DVD s' in future."
Not Good........

"Ok, the only reason I saw this movie is because Jeremy Sisto! is in it. Him and his performance is the only reason I rated this movie 2 stars. Elizabeth Hurley does give somewhat of a good performance but overall, I found this movie both boring and confusing at times. Not a horror movie. Only worth the rental fee if you are a Sisto fan!"
