I'm a of John Travolta but this movie was not great and had the fizzle effect in it after a strong start out the gate.

Michael is an amazingly excellent movie! I laughed so much! Now that is saying a lot coming from me! I do not give praise easily when it comes to movies I watch. This one is something special as is the Angel character… emphasis on character here! John Travolta makes wearing wings look good and he still has those dance moves down pat. Lots of great music included. One of my all-time favorite actors always was William Hurt and he shines in this role as do Andie MacDowell and Robert Pastorelli.

I liked this quite a bit. Made me dig out my Aretha Franklin cd.I like how angels can be amongst us unaware, by not presenting the way we think they should look or act. It's a keeper in my dvd library.

Travolta's finest hour...I don't care what serious movies he's done. This is heartwarming, uplifting, and the music is terrific. He even dances. What is so fabulous about this movie is that no matter how bummed I may be, I pop this in the player and start smiling from the minute it begins. And every single character in it is super at their role, including the dog, but especially Jean Stapleton.
