Family Struggles
Fan of British video | 01/28/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The series gets better and better, each character becomes more endearing. It's easy to get engaged in the struggles of the family, but I suggest starting with Series 1 & 2 to understand the history of the family and to appreciate their dilemmas. Set in some spectacular scenery in Scotland, and produced with very high production value, this series is a rare treat. I can't wait for Series 5&6."
Monarch of the Glen - Series 3 & 4

(4 out of 5 stars)

"If you have a hankering for a hunk of good Scottish humor, great Scottish scenery and some meaty Scottish tradition, you're going to enjoy this series. The only problem I have is the rapid turn over of some the main characters. It's a fluid cast and you have to be able to go with the flow."
