Meryl Streep is convincing as a divorcee who puts her life back together teaching violin to young children in East Harlem. Her program is threatened by school funding cuts and ultimately is saved by a massive community effort. The movie is based on real-life events and is worth the telling--and worth the seeing. A feel-good movie that will touch you. |
