"...not even 1 star for the quality of DVD:both, the picture and the sound are HORRIBLE!!!! BUT, if you like underground music from one of the first singers in this category:NICO ,then go for it! WARNING: this is only for die-hard fans of Velvet Underground/NICO!"
A Great Nico DVD

"This DVD features 2 live Nico concerts, as well as some interview segments. The contrast between the 2 concerts makes this a unique DVD and also interesting to watch.
One concert is filmed in a small club of some sort. Only one camera was used and most of the time its focused at Nicos face in a very close shot. As another reviewer remarked here, the sound (for this show) is not Tops. So it wasnt Professionally recorded, even so one still has to wonder how good the sound couldve been in the actual club though. Nicos Vocal parts however come through clear enough. My favorite part of this show is her cover of "Heroes".
The 2nd concert included here is much different. Shes playing on a much bigger stage. Theres great lighting, very dramatic, the sound here is just fine as far as im concerned. This show was filmed with multiple cameras and isnt near as clastrophobic as the other show is.
I think that the 2 shows together on this DVD make this a great package."
