As far as CG movies go, this one doesn't stand out for any reason except for it was made by Sony. You'd think a company who makes TVs and MP3 players could create fairly realistic looking CG images... but they don't. However, one could rationalize that the movie is a cartoon, and therefore should look cartoon like. So if you can ignore that overall irritating animation you might enjoy it. The storyline is not as sweet as Pixar films or as funny as Dreamworks. It is just ok. The only reason I watched it was to see the Scottish Squirrels in a very obvious Braveheart spoof scene. That was about the only really fun part of the movie, I am pretty certain I shall never desire to see it again. But if you like CG films, If you want one more movie to occupy your kids for an hour and a half, or if you want to see what Mel Gibson would look like as a squirrel, it is worth the credit. 3 of 4 member(s) found this review helpful.
