Many Academy Awards and best picture and director Oscars. A classic great Oliver Stone war movie!

I thought this was a pretty good Vietnam war movie with a little bit of a twist. It deals with the human emotion side probably more than focusing on the war, or battles, themselves. It still had plenty of violence, so beware if that is not your thing.
