"I loved this dvd! It showed a very intimate look at an extraodinary man and his love for God and humanity. You saw Pope John Paul II for the divine leader that he was, and also his very human and emotional side. This movie leaves you with a "good feeling of hope" that it is possible for our leaders and us to work together to solve issues thru proper communication and love (God's way) rather than trying to solve issues by fighting and hatred. You will have a new respect for the man, the position, and the Catholic Church. A must see movie!"
Should have bought two!

"When I saw that Carey Elwes was going to play the Pope, I said, "yeah, right." I only watched it because my husband wanted to. Even though I considered Pope John Paul II a great spiritual leader, I figured the movie would be boring. Not so! Both of us like it so much that it's hard to loan out to friends. We usually want to watch it again before they return it."
