Movie Reviews

It's Incredible, Guys!
Anthony Morelli | Montreal, Canada | 03/12/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This band rocks and I can't believe it took me so long to appreciate this genre of music...which I really can't decide what to classify it under. Do we classify them under "Pop", "Grunge", "Punk" or "Rock"...or all? LOL

I love Lauri Ylonen's voice. God...he's got an amazing, heart-breaking voice? So captivating and clear! This guy rocks!

When the CD "Dead Letters" came out, i rushed to the store and bought it after listening to my friend's copy of it.
I was sold right away. I received this DVD as a gift from that same friend and I was totally blown away with the first viewing!
The documentary...the live tracks, the alternative versions of the video "In the Shadows"...it's all damned gooooooooooood stuff!

This is a remarkable band, hailing from Finland. They have their own sound without a doubt. No other band has equalled their sound. They're not pretentious or rude...but a very cool, creative and colorful rock band.

My fave song will always be "Funeral Song" and to see the video...I love it more!

The duration of the DVD is 94 minutes, packed with an incredible array of stuff.

Among the features are:
In the Shadows (Bandit Version)
In the Shadows (Crow version)
In the Shadows (Us Version)
In My Life
First Day of My Life
Funeral Song (The Resurrection)
Guilty

Live at Gampel Open Air, August 21, 2004:
