Member Movie Reviews K. K. (GAMER) Reviewed on 6/19/2023... This film shows you the diverse aspects of people's lives with as bad as they get at times as well as the upsides. A common theme took away from what could have been a perfect film. A must watch for Nicholson, Hunt, Kinnear and small dog fans!  S A A. (Learned2Heal) Reviewed on 11/7/2008... Spanglish: This is a wonderful movie! Paz Vega is a must-see in any movie. She lights up the screen and her acting is flawless. Tea Leoni is amazing as the neurotic, self-centered, perfectionist wife. Adam Sandler in a role that is very different from his usual stuff. And Cloris Leachman is priceless as the boozing but wise Grandma. The kids are really good too. They can actually act! The story is very interesting, uplifting, and even motivational. Very funny at times, but its message is deeper than the comedy it offers. Even though I am not an Adam Sandler fan overall, I do recommend this movie highly. 2 of 4 member(s) found this review helpful.
