Vive La Resistance!
Christopher B. Valenti | Richmond, VA United States | 08/28/2001
(4 out of 5 stars)

"I purchased this for the first segment on the French Resistance. I have yet to view the second half on the phoney war. I generally don't like the "sensation" type of documentaries, but I found this one to be an exception. There was plenty of high quality footage sprinkled with a couple wonderful interviews of resistants. The footage was not new, but it did seem to be restored or at least enhanced in some way. Over all it was a nice summary of the Resistance movement in France and a great tribute to the courage of the French Resistance."
