Released by Mill Creek, this is a good DVD transfer of what was originally released on VHS. You'll find the picture and audio quality to be obviously imperfect but still perfectly watchable, even on your big-screen high-def TV. The quality is far superior to some of the 'public domain' movies available on DVD (I have a few of those - they are impossible to watch!).

This dual-layer double DVD set has a runtime of about 8 hours. In my opinion, some of Jimmy "The Scot" Jordan's advice is of no value - it's about superstition, not the mathematics of the game - but he goes into great detail in his coverage, and his presentation is not without value - he does present insight at times, and he does not completely ignore the math.

The topics (selectable DVD menu options) covered are:
- Basics and Intros to Each Game
- Table Games
- Beginner's Blackjack
- Advanced Blackjack
- Poker
- Video Poker & Video Keno
- Beginner's Craps
- Advanced Craps
- Baccarat
- Roulette
- Keno
- Sports Betting
- Slots & Moneywheel
- Money Management & Betting Systems
- Quick Tips
- Hot Tips

The video production was well thought-out in advance. Jordan uses, for example, oversize playing cards so you can easily see the value and suit, and multiple hands, in one camera shot. The Keno section is similarly well-produced - Jordan covers the many different ways to write Keno tickets, and it's easy to see how you would write your own.

In summary, don't expect this program to turn you into a 'casino expert', but it has both entertainment and information value. If you've got a couple of Swap-A-DVD credits to burn, you could certainly do worse. Personally, I never understood the many ways to play Keno until I watched this video. On my last Vegas trip, I invested a $100 bill on a few hours worth of Keno while I played Video Poker in an area where I could watch a Keno board. I lost a few dollars, but it was enjoyable to watch the numbers pop up and feel the excitement when the first few numbers matched mine. I'll do it again.
