Channing has a little mustache which really changes his appearance. Still, he shows he can carry a dramatic lead here. Liotta plays his typical bad cop role (rip) while Pacino's character pulls the story together. The movie also subtly highlights kids mental health + struggles of children + their families who live in the projects. The flic inadvertently flashes our collective memory back to when RudyG was the hero of NY around 9/11.
