Never fails to amaze me :-O

"Until you have seen one of Christi's workouts, you cannot fathom how incredibly excellent they are. They're always upbeat and intense, and she is so talented, fit and outgoing and she also choreographs all her routines. I'm always amazed at how she can continuously call out the moves to the routine without fumbling her words (although some of her dvds include outtakes). She sometimes sings them out too.
In this dvd, she has used some really innovative step combinations. You will use every single inch of your step and you'll be dancing to some familiar songs and that always is motivating because when you hear good music, you just want to move. At the end of the workout, there is an instructional segment to help you master those complex yet fun moves. Now you must be warned that this isn't for people with two left feet. It is complicated at times and very fast paced with no slowing down. You should also be fairly fit in order to feel at ease with this.
It really is an excellent workout (like all her others) and has to be seen to be believed how good of an instructor she is. The fun part also comes from mastering this routine. You won't get it on your first attempt (watch it through once though before you begin so you can start to familiarise yourself with it), but with enough tries, you'll have it down soon and it's worth it because it's so much fun that you almost don't realise you are working out (except for the buckets of sweat lost and the pounds shed). I love it and really do think it's worth a go."
An upbeat, fast-paced, and fun workout

"StepSational is a fitness DVD that emphasizes step-based cardiovascular choreography - with a twist. Physical fitness expert Christi Taylor presents a workout that transitions from a warm-up and a standard vigorous step- based experience to an innovative "upside down" segment in which all combinations begin at the top of the step! An upbeat, fast-paced, and fun workout, benefitting highly from its exuberant host. Also highly recommended are Christi Taylor's previous fitness DVDs, "Solid Gold Cardio" and "Solid Gold Step". 47 min, color.
Too hard to be fun

"I bought this DVD after reading the other reviews. I love step aerobics and have been doing it at gyms and at home for over 20 years. Even though I like a fast pace, alot of chorography and good music, this video is just too much. By the time you figure out a move you're on to the next one. Christi talks so fast and the music is so loud you can hardly understand what she is trying to say. She often goes into the advanced/optional part of a move before you have a chance to feel comfortable with the basic move. Even if you try the review at the end of the DVD she doesn't slow it down enough for you to get any real practice in. I tried it several times before I ended up using my old favs again."
I didn't realize I had worked out for 45 minutes!

"This DVD is so fun that I looked down at my heart rate monitor and realized I had exercised for 45 minutes!
Christi Taylor is a fantastic teacher and her cueing is second to none. If you listen you can catch on, but it does take practice. This is not a DVD you can do the first time you see it, but I just keep moving until I catch on again. (For those with the patience, the MoveMaster is there)
I really like her brother Forrest in this one. He does not look like a fitness model (no offense Forrest), but he does keep up with the rest! He missteps every once in a while and reminds us that we can't take ourselves tooo seriously. This is fun! Don't get me wrong, this is a very professionally cues and executed DVD..Forrsest is just a fun person to watch.
This DVD will make you sweat and you will stay interested. A keeper!!"
