An excellent movie loosely based on the Amanda Knox story (different country, different name). Matt Dillon was very believable as the father. The story is about an oil rigger (Matt Dillon) who travels to France to visit his daughter who is in jail for 9 years for killing her Iranian female roommate. She says she didn't do it that they were best friends and accuses an Iranian male of doing it. Her father believes her and tries to get the case reopened. The story follows his path of playing detective because the officials refuse to do anything because she's already been convicted and served 4 years of her sentence.
