Also of note is an extremely rare clip of Tom's Band Powerhouse from 1976 at a small club in Connecticut. It's a who's who of axe slingers and a whole lot of very fine guitar picking.Kicking off with a 1994 clip from Tornado Alley, Tom demonstrates just how he has reached the status as one of the premier guitar players with a smoking version of Duke Robillards "Give Me All The Love You've Got". He plays with technical prowess and emotional attachment that most guitarists only dream about. Tom rips through covers of Jerry Lee Lewis's "I'm On Fire" (trading some hot licks with guitar legend Albert Lee), Albert Collins, Joe Turner and Albert King, as well as his own arsenal of well-written tunes. 'Anniversary DVD' celebrates a career that not only has brought some great music to this area, but also shows how timeless great playing really is. Principato's consistently solid playing is a joy to watch as is his talented sidemen. The DVD is divided into two parts, the videos, which consist of professionally shot footage and "Video Cam Corner" (great moments of music caught on amateur video) and runs about 75 min. The picture and sound varies from clip to clip, and considering the age of some of the sources, are very well preserved.
