This was hard for me to watch with no sets, scenery, or props. I took it out after a few minutes. There was no way that I could become invested in such a play. I do know that it was produced the same way as the original 1938 play and that I'm in the minority with my opinion. For me, it would be better as a book.

"I used this video to help my high school seniors better understand the play. This was an amazing version of the play. The production stayed true to the script and Paul Newman was a powerful and enthusiastic stage manager (narrator). One of the best versions of the play I've seen. It is very moving."
