Movie Reviews

That's it??

"I feel like I have to write a review for the final season of The Tudors because I was left just as disappointed as the others. I watched the whole entire season in 2 days and told myself to keep an open mind, but it was really disappointing. First of all, it was really really short. Second of all, it felt so ridiculously rushed - that by the end of it, I was left baffled and upset. I believe the first thing I said was, "That's it?!!!!!!!" I too, felt like the dream sequence was cheated. But there were sooooooooooooooo many things I could talk about, that made me want more than I got. The whole production of the final season just felt so tame, without thoughtful execution to it's inevitable end.

The final season, while it had its moments that I quite enjoyed. Overall, it was "ok". It definitely did not have the emotional connection to it like I felt season 2 and season 3 portrayed. Season 4 just didn't do it any justice. For such a great cinematic (albeit inaccurate) portrayal of King Henry VIII, it didn't conclude the series with the "BANG" all us fans were looking for.

Being such a fan, I feel sad that this is how the show decided to end it's series... but such is life. You win some and you lose some. Its just too bad that this time, the loss felt real. Better luck next epic series "Showtime".

Praying that Andy Whitfeld gets better, so he can reprise his role as "Spartacus" - otherwise, what else is there!!"
