Lowe is coming out of a drug deal in which two officers were killed and the primary villain, the drugs, the money and the surveillance tapes are still at large. Lowe is also dealing with his wife, who has just informed him that she is pregnant-but the child is not his. After a gunfight in which Lowe comes very close to death, he falls into a coma. Whilst on the road to recovery, Lowe finds himself in a very personal battle to make amends with his kidnapped wife and to take revenge on his assailant once and for all. His boss formerly refused to employ Lowe as a detective again, but, the teenager Lowe paid to research for information comes out with nuggets of gold which would stop the criminal activities for a long time to come. After an inner battle with himself, He gains again the spirit to live again. While on the road to recovery, Stowe finds himself in a very personal battle to make amends with his kidnapped wife and to take revenge on his assailant once and for all. Van Damme, I think has always been a good actor. And with "Until Death" he hits it big time, he gives a great performance. This movie it's more of a drama than an action movie and it has a great story. It is a must see, you will be surprised by it.
