Absolutely love the very first movie to the Cheech And Chong series...this movie is hilarious beyond all means. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong are two of the funniest men in the business. And when you put them together, you definitely have a recipe for laughter.

A comedy classic of the 70's!

(5 out of 5 stars)

Pedro De Paca (Cheech Marin) is a musician living in California who feels like his band needs a kick and he's a stoner. He meets a hippie named Anthony (Tommy Chong) as he decides to put him into his band and both are accidently deported to Mexico by mistake, however they smuggle a van of drugs on their way out of Mexico back to the states and picks up two lovely hitchiker women and are on the lam from the drug authorities.

This is the movie that started the whole Cheech and Chong phenomenon as back in 1978 it was a box-office success among audiences and critics. The film made Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong into movie stars including their two stoner characters as it spawned comedy shows, sequels and of course influenced a generation of stoner comedies for years to come after this movie's success for it's a hilarious and original comedy that you won't forget.

This special edition DVD includes audio commentary, deleted scenes with optional commentary, music videos, radio spots, featurette, and trailer."
