Movie Reviews

A great lesson in self worth!
Mommy of red heads | Allen, TX | 11/05/2007

""A Snoodles Tale" is a definite must see for everyone. It's a wonderful story that conveys how much worth we have regardless of how others look at us. It's great for kids and adults. I showed it to an adult friend, and she wept."
Snoodles not to be missed

"this story is a must-have for all families. the idea that the way the world sees us and the way our creator sees us are vastly different should be taught to every child. can also be a help to any adult who has issues with self-esteem. will bring tears to your eyes during the explanation phil vischer offers of his writing of this story. and the first story, dr. jiggle and mr. hyde is cute. this makes me glad larry didn't quite make it to danish immersion camp!"
Why Are We Here?

"A Snoodle's Tale is quite possibly my all-time favorite Veggie Tales story. The scene begins in a "Dr. Suess like" setting. Colorful and bright with many unique characters. When the newest snoodle arrives in town, the others find all the weaknesses in the little one. Quickly becoming discouraged, he searches for his purpose. Finally on the mountain top he discovers why he was created.

The story is a strong reminder that God made everyone for a purpose. We are all special, no matter what small minded people may say about us. When we finally accept the good news, our burden is made lighter. And we too can take flight like the small snoodle.

You'll feel better about yourself after watching this story. And your child will too."
A Seussical look at how much God loves you

"I still tear up every single time I watch this sweet and moving Snoodle's Tale; told in the style of Dr. Seuss, the original story follows a little Snoodle through a land of cruel taunts and mocking until he finds a lonely mountain and at its top a man unlike any he has ever seen... In his backpack the little Snoodle has drawings from the other Snoodles weighing him down, reminding him of all of his faults and failures, but the man, over a cup of tea, assures the little Snoodle, "What you need is a picture from me." The Snoodle gets to see himself as God sees him--a snapshot of who he can be.

This is probably the best and sweetest of all the VeggieTales. A must see."
