Search - W.E.W., Event 4, Vol. 9 - 12 on DVD

Better than the previous sets, but could still improve.

"This two disk set from Women's Extreme Wrestling contains four

programs, each specifically themed.



Side 1: Battle of the Hot Body Assassins.

This disk is a wash. Almost all the material on this side is repeated

from the previous two WEW sets. It repeats the Sinnamon vs. Davie Mae

match, Tara vs. Candie, Amanda Storm vs. Alexis Laree, Amy Lee vs.

Riptide, and the Schoolgirls. It also contains Tara Titatium vs.

Kristy Kiss, Pussy Willow vs. Gorgeous George. Moreover, it contains

a lot of the same boring garbage you want to fast forward through,

like Amy Lee's five minute tirade from set two.



Side 2: Ho Mania Kicks Butt.

Finally, they get something right. This disk contains only GI Ho matches.

She takes on Lady Storm twice, Amanda Storm twice, Kristy Kiss, and

Dawn Mae. Unfortunately, two of the matches are repeats, again, from

the previous sets. The best match on the disk is a pole match between

GI and Amanda Storm, where Amanda Storm absolutely thrashes GI for

most of the match.



Side 3: Big Pimpin Booty Kicks Butt.

This is a decent disk, because it features more other women throughout

the world of women's wrestling. It has Dawn Mae vs. Cristal,

Christi Ricci vs. Persephony, Vanessa Harding vs. Alexia,

Krissy Vaine vs. Jenny Taylor, Nav-a-Ho vs. Tai Killer Weed,

and a Battle Royal.



Side 4: PWO's Hot Body Stickup.

Again, a decent disk, because it also has a broader selection of

women, and also the matches are in a normal wrestling ring, not the

stupid sports bar. It has Becky Bayless vs. Baby Phat, Simply Luscious

vs. Sumi Saki, Kassidy vs. Michael Mannix, Lexie Fife vs. DD Venturi,

and Pussy Willow vs. Tai Killer Weed. The best match is Fife and

Venturi, because it is more old school. The only man/woman match

is Mannix and Kassidy, but they actually have the guy really pound

and slam her, although she still wins. There is even a bit of comedy

on this disk.



Overall, much better, since there are much fewer men on the disk, a

lot less nonsense and more wrestling, and less of the stupid Mae family

and the disabled guys. However, the first side really is a waste, and

they still waste some space on other repeated matches, and stuff you

want to fast-forward through.
