GARBAGE--A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
LucyPassive G. Mail | 09/12/2007
(1 out of 5 stars)

"This DVD is even worse than last year's one; since there is no Daniel Negreanu to salvage it. The question and answer session, like last year, has stupid beginner questions and vague answers.

There are maybe 30 poker books that you could buy that would give you a thousand times more value, and that number is not saying much about the quality of most poker books.

If you don't believe me, just post a comment asking any questions.
Other sections were just trite oversimplifications and generalizations.
If I recall any gems (requiring that I suffer through viewing it again), I'll share them with you here in the comments, don't expect much.
E.g., "Omaha is a game of ... flushes" ... gee, really? Wow...
I know some of these people, they are nice people, but they have no business trying to teach you anything, bracelets or no bracelets.

I'll dig out my copy of this title and I'll be happy to quote you from the dvd (enough to convince you, but not so much that it would violate copyright)--avoid this like the plague, I'm saving you money.

I won't be able to sell my copy of it so easily after this review, but hey, I'm here for the love of other consumers...

Ah, one more thing. Caro is passable, sometimes good (also in the 2004 dvd), but I think his material is duplicated elsewhere."
