What a great surprise! I had never heard of this and decided to buy it when I had to buy 4 once, and what a great movie it was. Sort of a quiet hit, but a compelling story, well-told. Draws a bit from the Memento method of mixing the order of the story around to making it more intriguing. I have little patience for formulaic movies, and this one is not that at all. Highly entertaining.

What an utterly fantastic movie. Beautiful, nostalgic, and tragic all at once... I could enjoy it just as much even with the sound turned off. The images have been carefully crafted to created a dreamlike world for the fantasy sequences, the real-life stuff just as carefully drawn to create a backdrop of bleary melancholy. A treasure of film.

Two stars for the fact that vestiges of the original show can be seen. Zero stars for the actual story here... they've butchered it to make it into a movie. I've directed this show once, and been in it twice... and this is a second-rate shadow of the stage show. The heart has been torn out of El Gallo, he's reduced to some sort of devilish clown. The comedy brought by Mortimer gets completely sacrificed because they cast Teller in the role and--OF COURSE!-- he can't say a word! What an utter disappointment. Do not judge this show based on this dismal presentation. Go see it live or you'll never know what it's really like.

For my movie, one of the greatest movies ever made. Certainly got one of the biggest buildups ever.. two incredible movies before, incredible acting, incredible effects, and of course, Tolkien's story didn't hurt anything. This movie has it all, though... heartbreak, action, love, deception... and elves. Certainly one I could watch over and over.

One of the best Hitchcock movies going. This reviewer's favorite, actually. Jimmy Stewart and Hitchcock had a perfect formula going, Doris Day bring just enough bubble-gum pop stardom to the picture to make it feel almost ironic. Not that she doesn't act the part well; the characters needed to seem out of their element. A movie that would set the standard for many to come, should be seen by anybody who thinks Hitchcock's best and only work was "Psycho."

A clever and unique film if there ever was one. One of the first and, to my estimation, still best uses of the green screen/ digital process, this film is great for fans of both noir and science fiction. Or, if you're like me and love to see two of your favorite genres cleverly mixed together, it's sheer joy. A little cheese added in, but the visual effects create such a unique environment, I really didn't mind.

Information in the system incorrectly shows Lionheart and Sudden Death as being included... UPC is for the Van Damme collection that has Hard Target, Timecop, Street Fighter, and The Quest.
