What a fun movie! It is Sahara meets National Treasure with a hint of Pirates of the Carribean. If you love a good treasure hunting movie with some laughs, adventure, and a little romance then it wouldn't hurt to give this movie a try. I must say I really enjoyed it and Kate and Matthew have good chemistry.

I love this movie; it is scary especially with the lights off and it is the kind of movie that is very believable. The movie was actually filmed in an old insane asylum (which was unfortunately demolished a few years ago) that is said to be haunted in real life. I also read in an article that the actors experienced some strange things while filming this movie which I think makes it even creepier. I recommend this movie if you are into movies about the paranormal.

I am a late bloomer at watching this movie and to be honest I didn't want see it because I am not into romantic movies and was sick of hearing how everyone "loved" this movie but I gave in to see what all the fuss was about. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a mere romantic fantasy movie but also a thriller. I can't believe I actually liked this movie considering I didn't want to watch it. I didn't read the book(s) and don't plan to but was able to follow along with the movie pretty easily. Like another commenter mentioned, the running scenes were a little odd but overall I was engrossed in the movie and at the edge of my seat during the climax of the "chase" (don't want to add any spoilers here).
