10th & Wolf
10th & Wolf (2007)
Actors: James Marsden, Val Kilmer, Dennis Hopper
Release Year: 2007
Date: 2/8/2013 4:19 ET

I found this movie pretty entertaining. I like mobster movies and this one isn't bad.
James Marsden is just gorgeous to look at and G.Ribisi gives his role all he's got.
Val Kilmer is humorous in his small role as the homeless-vet type barfly and Dennis Hopper is deliciously evil as usual. This movie was worth the watch.

The thing that bothers me is the last 20min or so. The impression I got was that Jesse was feeling his age and lifestyle and felt he was close to death or capture so he gave Bob indications what to do and made it easy for him and his brother to do. If this is true, it is never referred to or implied in any way to the point of Bob doesn't even refer to Jesse's intentions at all. Poor Bob is persecuted everywhere he goes but doesn't reveal Jesse's "cowardly" death.
Again, it would be ok except the movie never acknowledges James' desire to die on his own terms.

This was a fair to good movie. I could've done without the pseudo-love-triangle between JS, his wife, and former girlfriend (Burrows). Burrows is less than attractive, and has little sex appeal, so it is hard to imagine JS' being torn. Rest of cast is good and plot is well executed.

I disagree with the reviewer who detests this movie. Although there are some side plots that could've been developed more fully--JS' therapy for instance, and the reason for it, you don't get too stuck on that with everything else going on in the movie. His friend and cop recovering from drug habit is not very developed either, but you get the jist enough to follow. The ending is awesome and makes up for any mid-movie flaws. I think the point of the homosexual Inspector is a sort of commentary of how a cops' sexuality or preference is seen by the other SE England cops, and not altogether "unnecessary", as other reviewer put it. In the end, JS' character comes to respect this man on his own merits, and is able to somewhat overlook his own prejudices for the sake of finding the killer and attaining justice for the fallen cops.

The only thing this movie is good for is the soundtrack. And NOT the SCORE, but the actual vocal soundtrack by various artists such as Pitbull, Nina Simone, and G. Love and Special Sauce--which can't be found anywhere that I know of. Jason Statham is a redeeming factor, but not by his usual movie performance standards. Chris Evans and Jessica Biel (AND Jason Statham)are found together in another movie called "London", another so-so feature. Cellular is only mildly entertaining.

Chaos [Blu-ray] (2009)

This movie was great! The ending does not disappoint! You are kept hanging throughout the movie wondering who is responsible!? Ryan Phillippe is a good foil to JS' hardened and seasoned character. Great moments throughout! Snipes is a good fit to the story line.

LOTS of tits & ass, if you like that sort of thing, you will love this movie. I like the first Crank better. JS is always great, but the rest of characters/plot sort of brings movie down to least common denominator. Looking forward to Number 3. Hope it's better.

I love Danny Aiello (actually got to meet him in 1990!)! He is a true gentleman and talent, I have never seen him act badly no matter what movie he is in. A class act all the way. This movie is no different. Not a bad movie, not a great movie, but it was worth the 90min. This is one of those to get if you are a Danny Aiello collector, for he makes the movie watchable.
Also features John Corbett, Sandra Bernhard

By far one of my favorite movies of the 80's. I love the film-noir feel. This movie is actually a remake of the same title I think in the 50's and may have starred Robert Mitchum.
I like to watch this movie and Blow Out as double feature:)

I love this movie and most of cast, but Anne Heche is very hard to take and sit through her scenes. Wonder who else auditioned for the part of the wife of Donnie?

I would like to have seen more character development. I really enjoyed the Cohen character (played by Paul Jabara) and would have liked to see more of him. Makes you wonder if there are a bunch of deleted scenes that would provide a lot more to the story. The soundtrack is absolutely horrible but makes you want to laugh.

Omg--Eddie Griffin, Anthony Anderson and Michael Imperioli!??! This is gonna be good!
NOT to be confused with Daddy Day Care. Plot is cute, and the hilarity that ensues with all these inept men's men trying to take care of their babies says it ALL. Now you wouldn't think of Michael Imperioli as being funny in any way...Unless! you have seen him on the Sopranos. That tough, street, life of crime drama has some damn funny moments. The boy is funny. So when he's put together with two of today's funniest black comedians, not to mention Method Man (Hello!) you've got some big laughs comin' out of you! One of the reviews on the back says, "Three Men and a Baby meet Boyz in the Hood!"! I thought that was funny.

While the plot has lots of interesting twists and turns, JS with long hair just does not do it for me. Ray Liotta is maniacal, a part he is finding he likes to play (See: In the Name of the King), but he is way over the top here. I liked it fine once, but probably wouldn't care to watch again.

If you love Adam Sandler's humor like I do, you have to get this dvd! He is hilarious in every skit! Great bunch of writers they had during those years also. Adam Sandler not only plays well off of just one costar, they ALL work well together and the chemistry equals LAUGHS! If you were watching SNL during the Sandler years, this dvd will bring it all back for you, funnier than ever. If you did not catch the early 90's SNL shows, this dvd encapsulates it's essence. Enjoy!

I saw T2 first and loved it. Then I saw T3, didn't like it as much. I definitely thought Frank should not have given in to Russian Girl's sexual advances, I saw him as smarter than that, so I could've done with out that part. Saw T1 last, it is very good, I enjoyed it.
