30 Nights Of Paranormal Activity With The Devil Inside The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

Scare yourself silly and scream with laughter at this hilarious spoof of Hollywood's hottest horror movies. When a young family, who can't seem to stop filming themselves, moves into a house that turns out to be haunted, they meet up with a host of creepy characters -- including a horny vampire-hunting president who wants to emancipate their dragon-tattooed daughter. With help from the hysterically high-energy "Ghost Brothers" the family sets out to solve the mystery of the haunted house.

Amazon description:
Five teenage snowboarders are forced to spend the night in a mysteriously abandoned ski lodge. Except somebody or something already lives there. It is huge, savage and unstoppable]and now its pissed off. But if you think this is going to be the usual trapped teens stalked by a maniac movie, youre dead wrong: From the first chilling kill to the final horrific twist, prepare yourself for the smart, intense and award-winning European sensation that has terrified audiences around the world and put the edge back into the body-count genre.

You can watch with subtitles or dubbed in English. I thought is was great!

Soon, Anna realizes everybody she knows is in danger, including her family and friends.

This review just serves as a clarification about what this DVD is. This disc is NOT some spoof of the classic Christmas story about a deer that "reigns" over insubordinate bullies with a fiery red nose (though that description comes close at the end). This disc IS the classic Rankin/Bass special in the ever-so-hated incarnation with the "Holiday Exclusive" Destiny's Child music video. There is no rationale for an MPAA Rating: PG-13 (Parental Guidance Suggested), as far as I can tell there is no rating anywhere on the case or disc (though you will find terrible ratings for the music video all over the internet). If you want to watch the Rankin/Bass Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, here's your ticket. Hope this helps you decide if you want this version. (I honestly think the music video is just some silly fun, but be warned, you may be hated if you say you like it!)

Should have read the review on amazon first... This is a poor quality DVD and I do not suggest anyone else gets it.

The "Sights" in this "sing-along" are just pictures of paintings or drawings taken with a poor quality camera, or they could also be someone's old family photos or videos (no idea who these people are). Although the pictures are Christmassy, I wouldn't say that they all really capture the spirit of the holiday.

The "Sounds" on this disc are also just bad. Only every other song has people singing, if they wanted an instrumental disc they should have made it one, or if they wanted a true "sing-ALONG" they should have gotten the songs with people singing. Now the quality of the songs and the choice of songs is to be expected. The quality is poor just like the rest of the dvd. The choice is perfectly fine, and does contain many religious songs.

The thing that really made me write this review though is the bouncing ball is always 1-note behind! How are you supposed to sing along when the screen tells you to be slow with the music! and for the songs without people singing you really have to know the song to be able to follow along.

The one possible redeeming thing is it comes with a good copy of the 1940s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer cartoon short. Better than some other copies I've seen, but not worth the rest of this DVD.

I won't even be posting this back in to the system.

VeggieTales : An Easter Carol

Description from Amazon:
Cavis and Millward (Bob & Larry) and Hope the Music Box Angel voiced by Grammy Award winning artist Rebecca St. James must convince Nezzer that Easter is about much more than candy and eggs. Inspired by Dickens' Christmas classic, this very special film explains why millions of Christians around the world celebrate Easter past, present and future.

I thought it was a cute movie and since there are not a lot of Easter Classics, it was nice to see VeggieTales put this out!

Succumbing to the stresses of work and romance, a Seattle morning weather anchor (Tricia O’ Kelley) melts down live on-air. Closing in on forty, she is now unemployed, lacks career prospects, and must cope with her cheating boyfriend (Mark Harmon)—a devilishly handsome newscaster. Weather Girl is a slice of life comedy about reckoning the difference between growing old and growing up.

Crazy Little Thing (2003)
Actors: Jenny McCarthy, Chris Eigeman, Paul Dooley, Josh Stamberg, Drea de Matteo
Directors: Matthew Miller

A waiter/writer (Chris Eigeman) living with his dad and a neat freak (Jenny McCarthy) who's just landed a job as a reporter in New York, meet by colliding on the Brooklyn Bridge, and romance ensues.

Confessions of a Sociopathic Social Climber (2005)
Actors: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Colin Ferguson, Natassia Malthe, Daniel Roebuck, Stefanie von Pfetten
Directors: Dana Lustig

Bold, sexy, and deliciously wicked, Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a fashion-obsessed social climber willing to do whatever it takes to crash the most important party of the year and win over the man of her dreams (Colin Ferguson). Based on the best-selling novel, "Confessions" is a light-hearted romantic comedy full of fun.
