Geppetto (2000) (2000) Actors: Drew Carey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Brent Spiner Release Year: 2000 Date: 11/10/2011 9:29 ET |
I am not a big Drew Carrey fan but was pleasantly surprised by this movie.A twist on the classic story in true disney style. The evil puppetmaster played by star trek's Brent Spiner (Mr.Data) and Rene Auberjonois (also star trek-Odo) delighted even my husband, then throw in Usher for another twist.
I also find it interesting disney finds a way to inject one of thier classic tunes into the newer movies (in this case wish upon a star by the "perfect" children)
All around this is a disney must-have!!

Classic
Interesting that nowhere in the credits or actor list does it show the great man on the cover Patrick Stewart.

I was looking forward to this coming out on dvd as the trailers looked so cute.
But as in many movies the trailers have the best parts.Cute in concept but does
not keep your attention.
And the story did not explain WHY he poops jelly beans??? Didnt fit with the story.

I give this movie an ..OK...
I bought it thinking it had great potential with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah but storyline dragged.Dolly always has strong willed roles but this one makes her a diva
(the only one with a fitted choir robe??)And Latifah character has alot of anger.

Snowmen (2011) Actors: Bobby Coleman, Ray Liotta, Christopher Lloyd Release Year: 2011 Date: 12/19/2011 3:38 ET |
Another story of kids picked on by bullies, the story was a little slow.I wanted to see it for the fact of Christopher Lloyd but he had only a short scene near the end.
