Member Movie Reviews Duane S. (superpoet) from FORT WORTH, TX Reviewed on 1/25/2008... This is a lovely little film extolling the virtues of kindness, friendship, and loyalty. The friendship between a bum and a little girl ultimately results in the liberation of the little girl and her mother from a life controlled by a drug kingpin, who is the the little girl's boyfriend. This is a great film for children. It should , perhaps, be seen with a parent, as the little girl does befriend a "stranger" in the "bum" as he is drunk at the time. 1 of 1 member(s) found this review helpful.
