I found the style of the movie a bit off putting at first, but it does grow on you. They pretty much shot the entire thing in a theater. The film and the movement of the actors have a very balletic feel. The costumes are gorgeous, if not authentic to the period. As to the storyline, it's Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, if you've read the book or seen one of the other film adaptions you know how it's going to end. All in all, it's worth a watch.
