Once again, I loved it. I could just imagine being in that situation.

I must say that this isn't as funny as other Sandra Bullock movies and it isn't as adventurous as some of Ben Aflects movies but it was a good movie. If you like either actor you will want to see it. If you like them both then you really need to see it. It isn't oscar material but with the crap they show on TV now a days you could do worse (without much effort). It is a clean fairly family based film that really takes a look at relationshps and marriages. Not really a "family" film but a good film for a couple of adults or two to watch.

Sandra Bullock and Ben Affleck are great together in this movie. Through a series of unfortunate traveling events they find themselves in several unlikely but hilarious scenes as they try to make their way from New York to Savannah, Georgia within a limited time period. Along the way they both learn something from each other;, he to be more relaxed and have fun with life, her to stand and fight for the relationship she prizes the most. Both men and women will find something to enjoy in this movie.

Disappointed

"I love watching Sandra Bullock - in anything. But the character she played here felt like it pulled her image down and I felt sad. She was excellent as an actress here, but i just don't like the person she played. I did not like her lying about Affleck being a doctor; did not like how she took a bath oblivious to how that might affect her travel mate, or how she got mad and walked out when Affleck's wedding party saw him in the pool with her - she knew what the whole situation was; why get mad at Affleck for being caught in it? I understand she came from a hard background, and did what she felt she had to do to survive, but I like seeing her in roles where she has integrity and principles - like Miss Congeniality and Blind Side. It just was not believable that Affleck and she would fall for each other - be intrigued with each other perhaps, or learn something from each other. I did not like Affleck's character either - immature, unprincipled, impressionable, impetuous. The movie had nice aspects but nothing came together right. All the actors/actresses were excellent -I love Blythe Danner; it was not the acting; not even the directing. I guess the story was unappealing and some vague sense that this was all wrong. There was no opening of the heart, no transfomation, no beautiful life lessons learned. Lots of yelling and low life stuff and hurt feelings...I turned it off before the ending because I could not deal with the idea that one of the women would be so hurt and I did not even want to know. Wish I had not seen it."

"Ben Holmes, a pretty regular guy, is on his way to his wedding. A little accident hinders the takeoff, and soon Ben finds himself in a third person's rental car together with eccentric but attractive Sarah. Several catastrophic incidents later, the two are thought to be a married couple and run into Ben's best friend and his girlfriend, who happens to be the bride's best friend. Now, Ben and Sarah have to face the problem that they really might be made for each other, but they also might just be panicking about the upcoming events: His marriage and her first meeting with a special person. This movie is very entertaining and not particularly predictable. There's good acting, lots of interesting developments, and a very good story. A nice movie, with enough humour and charm to entertain."

"Just didn't get the point of this movie. IT has sorry a ending. The story of an engaged man getting trapped with a woman that is a bit on the loony side. **spoiler** They end up getting together after trying very hard not to. They decide that they are meant to be together but only in the end separate!!"
A complete mess!

"Forces of Nature is probably my least favorite film of Sandra Bullock's career. There's nothing wrong with her performance, she is funny and brilliant as always but to me Ben Affleck's wooden acting ruined this so-so film. There are parts of this film I like and parts I do not. The film has a week premise and never takes float, the ending is disappointing and the writing is sloppy. If you want a great Sandra Bullock film then check out 28 Days or Practical Magic, leave this one on the shelf."
