I agree with the other two member reviews, as this is a very enjoyable movie. Too bad that truly funny and cute romantic comedies don't ever seem to rate very high in the movie critics' ratings, as I think they should get the kudos they deserve. Though I do very much enjoy a serious, well done film, most people like me also appreciate being able to lay back, relax and just enjoy some good fun and a few laughs - it's good for the spirit. Anyway, this is classic Bullock, filmed early in her career before we even knew what classic Bullock was to be. Cute story based on the song by the same name, and the film features a few other good, nostalgic '70s and early '80s songs. Perhaps the ending was a bit predictable, but the movie sported sufficient originality to make it worth seeing. I thoroughly enjoyed it and caught myself smiling and laughing throughout the film - had a great time watching it.
