You really have to be a gamer to enjoy this one. Totally not for me, although I do love me some Ryan Reynolds!

Took a bit to warm but then it got going with a feel of Ready Player One, Pixels, The Lego Movie and Roblox. The movie did start stalling a bit about 3/4 into it with some small talk and they could have shortened it some or left out some scenes but then it came back for a strong finish. We do like Canadian born actor Ryan Reynolds, who became a U.S. Citizen in 2018 but he should stick to acting since that is what he does best.

Really entertaining. Ryan Reynolds is always fun to watch, and he doesn't disappoint in this slightly "out there" romp through a video-game's character discovering he's not real, but deciding to be a hero anyway. Some folks will hate it, but not because it wasn't well done. Most will love it. Four stars!
