Disappointing!

"This DVD showcases some mouth-watering male specimens, and they might have had a chance to heat up the screen if less time were spent on the photographer yakking. In fact, just about the time the photo shoots get intesting, the filmmakers cut to images of unrelated, inanimate objects or to the (relatively unattractive) photographer again. And the music is simply AWFUL, like bad '80s porno music mixed with mediocre dance music. I expected this DVD to be similar to the "Dieux du Stade" releases, but this seems aimed at teen girls. There's just not much that sexy, or even that interesting, here."
Oh my Gods!

"First off, I must apologise to Pedro Virgil. In my review for his rather disappointing Gods of Sport book, I stated his work had a long way to go in terms of being equal to the Dieux Du Stade series. Not only is his work here equal, it surpasses this year's installment of that long running series. This is the work to be showcased and not leftover shots that filled Gods of Sport. Every photoshoot is incredibly filled with gorgeous men that made up the calendar version. Each photoshoot has a theme that is approriately given for the men to portray. From at a ranch to James Bond, to lavish beach shots and old Hollywood photoshoots, every pose and scene holds a remarkable presense of beauty. The guys herein are scorching hot. From muscular and ripped, to even a bit doughy, every guy is a wonder to behold. By far the wonder of this whole endevor has to be Kayne Lawton. This guy has a killer smile and even deadlier body and shows it off to a dreamy reveal. There are no nude frontal shots, except for some noticible straining outlines in some tight briefs (in many super tight tighty-whities), so those that decry the lacking of that type of photo will tiredly do so again here. You do, though, get plenty of shots of backsides and bodies, both nude and in those super tight briefs. In water and on land, the guys never disappoint; however sometimes the choice of music will, but not enough to detract, as I found the music to be much more modern than what is used in the Dieux Du Stade. Also, you get to hear the dreamy guys in their sexy Aussie accent, and Pedro Virgil as well.As for extras, you get plenty of more photoshoots, including one "transformation" of a hairy "wolfman," David Williams, to a sleek looking hunk (not that he was bad to begin with, as he was still hot sporting a wild beard), and two other features include the calendar launch party along with some out-takes.Created for a good cause, to fight breast cancer which is strongly presented at the begining of the DVD, this overall project of hot jocks hopefully benefits it to a successful attempt and lets us help by helping us escape with some dreamy guys for a wonderful amount of time."
