I thought this was one of Lifetime's better movies as it dealt with real-life issues (unemployment, addiction, school). This was inspired by a real story too. The storyline is excellent and doesn't hold back like you usually find in Lifetime movies.

Kristen Bell shines as the logical, determined 17-year-old older sister who, while still in school, gets a job and tends to her younger siblings because her drug-addicted mother can't.

Well worth your time to watch. It's sad, realistic, and heartwarming.

I thought this was a typically well done Lifetime movie. I know some of them can get a bit cheesy, but the acting in this film was done really well by everyone. Anne Heche did a great job of playing an addict mother. I thought Kristen Bell did a great job playing a responsible person while also being a high school student.

I recommend it.
