WOULD U MIND?
thecdking | nc | 11/21/2002
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is Janet so of course I had to give this 5 stars and its worth it. If you saw the concert you know its amazing. If you haven't read on. The concert starts off with janet running around the beach and under the waterfall topless and then she enters the stage fully clothed, amazing how does she do it. She plays the songs "If, That's the way love goes, All for you", and more of the classics and the new ones but nothing compares to the stage performance of "Would you mind". She has way out done her performance of "Rope Burn". In "Would you mind" she of course gets a guy out the audience and she puts him on this table specially made for a person that moves around and that's all I can tell you about it. The features are even better. It has a photo gallery, rehearsel, and a series of performances of "Would you mind" around the United States. The only bad thing I have about the DVD is that the crowd in Hawaii were not as wild as the New York crowd. The crowd had their burst of excitement but not full shouting like the New York crowd. The DVD is worth the money, the concert also last way over 2 hours long."

"Beyonce? britney? JLo? Please! None of these woman have anything on Miss Janet "if ya nasty" Jackson. Janet is, in my opinion, the greatest female performer of all time. Her dancing & performance skills are top notch, her voice is so pretty & all of these youngin performer's now are just re-enacting what they've seen Janet do for years. Here, she does not dissapoint with a show so spectacular, it looks like a Las Vegas production. A definite keeper! All the great songs, many new ones & Janet looks gorgeous, with a body that's worthy of envy!"
Janet at her best

"Leaving behind the depressing and drab mood of Janet's previous tour, "The Velvet Rope Tour", this concert is a long-awaited return to the happy and fun Janet that we are used to after over two decades in the business. Some may say that the choreography and visuals are the same as the last tour. Indeed, certain elements of the show (such as the Whimsical Medley) are reminiscent of Ms. Jackson's previous tour, but these segments still seem to be a crowd pleaser. Much of the choreography from older hits is left the same. However, I think this is due not to being uninspired, but rather to familiarize the song and routine from Janet's amazing and remarkable videos with the fans. The choreography is still some of the most intricate and amazing out there, so if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The DVD also features incredible extras including a photo gallery, the Would You Mind compilation, an interview with Janet herself, and much more! And despite what some reviewers have to say, Miss Janet is singing more live than not. While 4 or 5 songs may have backing vocals for Janet to rely on, out of a 26 song set, that is a pretty low percentage. This is Janet at her best. Fun, energetic, sexy, gorgeous, and happy. If you want a good show, then this DVD is all for you."
Electrifying!

"I own this DVD and I have to say that it's amazing. The full concert is great, but it's quite a little porn and sexual, watch the intro video, when se runs to the water, you can see all of her breast, and I think the special feature where are 5 performances of Would You Mind is very hot! when you see how she performs that song, you'll believe me!

It is a great DVD, and it has 26 live performances! I don't know how does it last only 1hr 54min.

The best performances in the concert are:
-Trust A Try
-You Ain't Right
-Son Of A Gun (Missy Elliott sings it with her)
-That's The Way Love Goes
-If
-Would You Mind (oh, my God!)
-Doesn't Really Matter
-Together Again
-Rythm Nation

There are also outtakes in the middle of the concert, when a songs finishes, the camera records Janet changing her clothes.
It's very exciting, but you'll love it!"
