I actually liked this movie (don’t hate me - I’m not into comics or graphic novels) but save a credit - these special features suck!! There doesn’t even need to be two discs - half of the “special features” are literally stills or a few frames of what you just watched, one is an outtake - of one scene (which was interesting - but only one scene?! Of course the one that’s worth watching (making of) is on the second disc and it’s maybe 15 minutes and can probably be found on YT. Save your credits and skip this edition of the movie.

Such a sad, dark movie.

I guess it is a successful "origins" piece, but I miss the humor of the original Batman series and the first few Batman movies.

For me, a trip into the world of Arthur Fleck's insanity was both dismal and confusing. The shift from reality into Fleck's schizophrenic delusions came smoothly and with no immediate indication of the transition.

Joaquin Phoenix is convincing as a victim of society and as a vengeful monster, but I will not be eagerly awaiting a sequel to witness his development of the character.

Slow but calculated plotline bringing you the beginnings of how the Joker came to be. Joaquin Phoenix shines in this and mastered playing the joker. A must see but be warned of extreme violence at times.
