Very interesting "sports" movie...without the sports factor! Based on a true story, sports is all about the money.

Really fun unique baseball plotline based on a true story! Brad Pitt and and Jonah Hill shine in this!

This is a great "baseball" movie that should appeal to everyone... even those who are not exactly baseball fans! The theme is more about the little guy that could or maybe how to beat the odds with persistence and plain old hard work! Billy Beane (Brad Pitt), along with a economist grad from Yale (Jonah Hill) prove that getting men on base is more important than the star player running the bases alone. Oakland A's manager played by Philip Seymour Hoffman, is doubtful yet finally convinced the team can come out winners and they do in spectacular fashion! Acting is top rate and story is well written with help from Billy Beane himself. Extras on the DVD show lots of great footage and how the little guy can win out with hard work and a little luck.
