Buzz Lightyear was unable to save this superhero mess that wasted lots of money paying hollywood talent. Zoom away, there's no droids here!

New way to spell Lame Zoom.
Folks if your not into lame humor then this movie is a one star movie but if you are it might pick up a few. The acting, oh what the heck this was a lame movie everything about it was lame even the acting.
A super can read minds and doesn't know what these guys want them here for. Another can pick up a person with her mind but can't push a button. Oh yeah and a boy that can make any part of his body enlarge can't reach across a room and hit a button. So if you want a movie that makes sense then don't go with this one. This is about the dumbest group of suppers to walk into basic training and when they came out they had not improved much. Sure they save the day it's a kids movie.
I gave it four stars because I find lame movies to be fun and entertaining. If you don't stay away from this one take the Barney instead. Yeah it's that bad.

I love this movie.

It is a nice change up from the recent trend of making very edgy super hero movies that children younger than 13 cannot enjoy. Not that I don't like those, just that I like to watch movies with my son too.

There is plenty of adult humor smattered through the film but it is still targeted to the much younger audience.

Ryan Newman is going to have quite a career in front of her, she is simply hilarious as the strong man of the team, and is a heavy presence in her sceans, though she doesn't quite steal them.

Spencer Breslin and Tim Allen team up yet again, and they really have a good working chemistry together.

Rip Torn ... ever since Dodge ball I can't even see him without laughing. this character is even more funny because he really isn't.

Kevin Rodgers, and Kate Mara really pair well - Kevin as the 'outsider' and Kate as a 'big sister'.

Chavy Chase and Courteney Cox(surprising) are the pratfall major comic relief of the film, which helps keep the film light natured and also give us some people for our group to rebel against.

All and all as far as superhero movies go this is pretty well done, and is also fairly cleaver and new.

The writing for the characters is completely believable. With some against the grain - fight the power - kids attitudes, adding in super powers and you end up with more of a rebellious X-Men type group.

I would recommend this for anyone looking for a super hero movie for their 5-10 year olds.
